THE TEACHINGS
01. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION
We will learn where the concept and movement of mindfulness comes from, origins of the word and brief intro to the methodology of Dr. Kabat -Zinn.
Difference between Eastern Meditation Practices, Why and How mindfulness & meditation should be practice together. We will learn the importance of practicing both and the role they play in our daily life.
03. SUBTLE ANATOMY
We will learn the importance of understanding the structure and the elements that make up our bodies, the interconnection between our different bodies: subtle, mind, energetic and physical.
We will review the Tibetan Chakra System with its 5 pranic vortexes or winds, we will understand the 5 elements from the Tibetan Medicine, the 3 main channels or nadis and the relation with the emotional world.
04. DISCIPLINE OR LAZINESS?
We justify ourselves with limiting excuses that prevent us from connecting with the practice, we blame our short schedule, laziness or lack of understanding. The reality is that we are unable to make meditation a habit because we lack the knowledge and understanding of how our Universe works.
We will learn and go deep into specific concepts from Buddhist Cosmovision to help us build a strong commitment and discipline in our spiritual path.
05. THE PRACTICE
We will learn different types of meditations such as Walking Meditation, Shamtha, Vipassana, Chanting that can help you develop peace, joy and a balance state of mind.
